We offer a number of training days that take place both online and via Zoom throughout the year. You can either book on these days as an individual, or send us an enquiry for group or company bookings. All training programmes are open and accessible to healthcare professionals, service users, those with lived experience, and those that just want to learn more. The art of these training packages is that they are all co-produced and value this in their delivery and longer-term execution.
Whilst we often hear the term crisis thrown about, it is often very misunderstood and this can be detrimental in responding to crises. This training allows us to look further into myth busting what crisis is, risk management, positive risk taking, safety planning, and psychological safety.
Neurodivergence is gravely misunderstood, and especially when co-morbid with mental health difficulties which is often the case. This course allows us to look at what neurodiversity is, neuro-affirming language, healthcare accessibility, and developing resources to support those with neurodivergence in crises.
Suicide and self-injury are often very taboo subjects but it is so important to talk about and not be afraid. This course allows us to look at what this can look like for different people including between sexes and genders, adults, adolescents and children, neurodivergents and neurotypicals to name a few. We support with resources and channelling thoughts and obstacles as well as recognising early warning signs and myth busting.
Whilst currently a hot topic, trauma informed care is everything. This course allows us to look at this in depth, considering each of the key principles in addition to recognising what trauma is, trauma responses, trauma in terms of neurodivergence, and resources and support to better understand trauma and trauma-informed care.
Whilst equality, diversity, and inclusion is often a big agenda, equity is often forgotten. Equitable care is lifesaving and often lacking leading to major health inequalities, especially when considering vulnerable patients. This training allows us to take a further look at this in depth, and work together to understand equitable care better and how to embed this in our everyday lives.
